Two-factor authentication
Every account can require a 6-digit code from your phone in addition to the password. Even if a password leaks, your account is safe.

Immutable audit trail

No. AkiliLex is a software platform. It does not provide legal advice, does not represent clients, and does not engage in the practice of law. AkiliLex is a tool used by licensed legal practitioners and the public to streamline administrative and operational work. Where is my data stored?
All data is hosted in Kenya, in compliance with the localisation principles of the Data Protection Act 2019. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). See our data protection statement.
Are the document templates ready to file in court?
The templates are professionally drafted starting points written in proper Kenyan legal format. They are not ready-to-file documents — every matter has unique facts that require an advocate's judgment. Use them as drafting accelerators, then have a qualified advocate review before filing.
What does the AkiliLex Seal verify?
The seal confirms that a document was generated through the AkiliLex platform on a specific date for a specific matter. It does not certify the legal accuracy of the document's contents. Verification is open to anyone at akililex.com/verify.
